Time step Tuesday

In the common, contemporary curriculum of tap dance, the time-step is codified and taught in several variations - the single, double, triple, etc. Traditionally however, there were as many time steps as there were tap dancers! A time step was a signature, repetitive step that the tap dancer used to count in the band and set the groove before moving into an improvisation or routine. Often, these phrases were structured as "three-and-a-break" (one phrase done three times and then a break of equal length).

My goal is to create as many time steps as there are Tuesdays! Each week, I choreograph a brand new three-and-a-break, sometimes a cappella, sometimes to recorded music, and sometimes with live accompaniment. Tune in each week and expect many special guests along the way!
